Sometimes the unexpected surprises you!

Sometimes the unexpected surprises you!

Nothing happens for nothing. Everything happens for a purpose in our life. Life always surprises you exactly when you least expect it. Two years ago I had the honor of being the host of the Anthology of Italian-Romanian poetry, created by the "Flacara" association president Mr. Petre Cristea and the "Active Poetry" association president Bruno Labate from Turin, Italy, in which the distinguished writer and teacher Georgeta Blendea Zamfir and - contributed with the poems: "Sentimental Fountain", "Polished Diamond - Romanian language" and "Magic Song for Romania's Day". Between me and Mrs. Georgeta Blendea Zamfir there is a strong bond based on our collaboration as teachers for more than 30 years at a college in our city, Brașov, Romania. She studied philology in Iași, attending the "Mihai Eminescu" Literary Cenacle, and I studied engineering at Transilvania University in Brasov.

At the Gaudeamus book fair in Bucharest, he received the title of Doctor Honoris Causa for the introduction of the "Literary Poem" among literary genres; she is the president of the "Daco-Roman Academy", the branch in Brașov, Romania. The arguments according to which the Nobel Academy sent a letter to the Daco-Romanian Academy for the nomination of the literature candidate lead us to believe that the Carpatho-Danubian-Pontic space is particularly important for human history.

The monumental work of the distinguished Mrs. Georgeta Blendea Zamfir "Romanian Ancestors", especially the fourth volume "Dacian Prehistory", presents archaeological discoveries of inestimable historical value.

The literary session at the "Libraria St.O. Iosif" Brașov was emotional when Dr. Geo Stroie, the (national) president of the Daco-Romanian Academy brought the letter from the Svenska Akademiens Nobelkomitté inviting him to send the name of the candidate for the Nobel Prize, a document that I presented in Pienerolo along with the nomination of Mrs. Georgeta Blendea Zamfir.

It was a great honor for me to do the translation from Romanian to Italian at Circolo Sociale 1806, located in via del Duomo 1, Pinerolo, province of Turin, region of Piemonte, Italy on May 2, 2023, and to present it to the distinguished Professor Georgeta Blendea Zamfir. Certainly the guests present had the opportunity to listen to the story of Mrs. Blendea's family, who made a wonderful retrospective of the books written by her lordship, starting with "Ineffabile feeling", a novel inspired by the tragic existence of her granddaughter Torina, who died at the age of 16 from leukemia, the daughter of the engineer Luigi Bertolotti married to her aunt, Maria, mother's sister, so named in honor of his city of origin, Turin and hence the strong family connection with the Piemonte region and the reason why his lordship wanted to organize the conference here. She told about the work he did for 6 months together with a team of 11 people to prepare the necessary documents for the file that had to be sent to the Nobel Academy in Stockholm, Sweden. He also exhibited her participation in the book fair in London, Great Britain "Earls Court" where she  presented the book of literary criticism published after his doctoral thesis under the auspices of the academician Constantin Ciopraga, introducing a new vision of the Romanian writer, Liviu Rebreanu. She supported the idea in her book that the Romanian writer, Liviu Rebreanu, knew the work of Sigmund Freund and positioned him as a representative of Romanian writers worldwide.

I  specially invited the girl Efremia Bruna Bombardelli from Bolzano, whose father is Italian and whose mother is Romanian, aged 9, who delighted us with two traditional Romanian folk songs wearing folk costumes from the areas of those songs.

Mr. Amore Carmelo offered the diploma of honor along with a stick with Italian music to Mrs. Georgeta Blendea Zamfir from SC B&B Consulting SRL as a sign of gratitude for accepting the invitation to participate in this conference.

We had the honor of having in our midst the priest Ciprian Marius Ghizila from the Romanian Orthodox parish "Stefan cel Mare" in Pinerolo who delighted the audience present together with Efremia Bruna Bombardelli with the religious song "Christ is Risen from the Dead" sung in Greek by to Ephremia, and in Romanian and Italian by the priest. I gave to Efremia a diploma of participation and two books with the autograph of Mrs. Georgeta Blendea Zamfir, which will definitely be proof of her participation in this important event in years to come.

On behalf of the Piemonte Regional Council, we had the honor of having as a guest the president of the Forza Italia party, Mr. Paolo Ruzzola, who posted his impressions on the region's website.

Mr. lawyer Enrico Rostan was the host of this evening showing his openness with great enthusiasm and joy to host this unique event in Pinerolo and in Piemonte.

I was very impressed by the women from the Romanian community in Pinerolo who tried to bring cakes prepared by them to serve the guests and who appreciated them very much. Each guest received a gift from me and Mrs. Georgeta Blendea Zamfir, a book of verses and an anthology of Italian-Romanian poetry.

Echoes of this event began to appear on social networks and in the local press.

In October, the Nobel Academy committee will meet to nominate the winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature. If she will be the winner of the grand prize, Mrs. Georgeta Blendea Zamfir promised that she will return to Italy at the official invitation of Mr. Paolo Ruzolla from the Piemonte Region, Italy.

We wish her much success and are already preparing for his return to Italy.
